Tossed out what was left of 24 multicolored roses that were sent to celebrate 22 years of a multifaceted marriage. They arrived just seven short days ago, delivered to my doorstep -- freshly cut, carefully wrapped, packaged in water. "The grass withers, the flower fades, but the word of our God will stand forever." (Isaiah 40:8) Thank you, Lord, for an eternal word. It is ever with me.
